Allister Whitehead began his DJ career in 1987 and has since become a globally recognised name in dance music. His breakthrough came with the gold-selling compilation The House Collection 3 for Fantazia, which at the time became the biggest-selling DJ compilation ever released. Its success helped open the floodgates for a new era of DJ compilation albums, which soon became a major part of the dance music industry.
Allister went on to achieve further success with three additional Gold and two Silver albums, including releases for Fantazia and a double-album collaboration with Boy George for Galaxy Radio.
Today, Allister remains one of the UK’s most respected and prolific house DJs. He regularly performs at leading venues and events including Warehouse Project, Ministry of Sound, A Clockwork Orange, Cream, and The Haçienda tours—events that consistently attract some of the largest crowds in the UK club scene.
