Cordelectra is a dynamic all-female electric string trio based in Southampton, Hampshire. Blending classical training with modern sounds, they create high-energy performances suited to a wide range of events. The trio has performed across the UK and Europe, both as a string section for well-known artists and through their own acoustic and electric string shows.
Individually, the members have appeared at major events including the MTV Europe Music Awards, the Royal Variety Performance, and the Eurovision Song Contest, as well as numerous UK and European festivals. They have also toured with artists such as Chesney Hawkes, Mark Read, and Nik Kershaw, and contributed session work to Kungs’ album recordings. Their cellist, Debbie, was recently recognised as an Inspirational Woman in Music at the Venus Awards.
Cordelectra regularly perform at weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events. Recent appearances include events at the National Exhibition Centre, the Cruise Awards in London, the Arbonne Conference in Glasgow, and the Annual Hotel Conference in Manchester. International engagements have included the Cadillac Alghanim Automotive Exhibition in Kuwait, along with performances at St Mary’s Stadium, Café Mambo, and Eden Ibiza, as well as charity events for organisations such as Lord’s Taverners and Care after Combat.
