We are a group of three West End soloists, posing as a “Manager,” “Chef,” and “Waitress.” The Manager role is available to make announcements and introduce any speeches prior to the main course, should you wish. We also offer the option of the Manager appearing as a red-coated Toastmaster before our performance.
During the main course, an announcement is made by the Manager about the Chef, who is supposedly leaving the venue or catering company and has been allowed to say a few words. From this point, the 20–25 minute act begins and comes as a complete surprise to the guests.
Songs within the act include “Mazal Tov,” “Tradition,” “To Life,” “Sunrise, Sunset,” “That’s Amore,” and “Nessun Dorma,” as well as Israeli dancing—a 7-minute medley of classics, which can include optional flag bouncing and chair lifting.
There is also the option of having us return for a tailor-made set of songs during desserts and coffees. For this set, we can perform songs in Hebrew, such as “Jerusalem of Gold,” as well as musical theatre and opera repertoire. For Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, we can include selections from Disney, The Greatest Showman, and more contemporary musicals such as Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Six, and Matilda.
We are also thrilled to offer a “Shabbat-friendly” version of the act, performed a cappella in three-part harmony.
The act works perfectly for Jewish holidays such as Purim, Chanukkah, and Yom Ha’atzmaut.
We have been fortunate enough to perform at many venues that regularly host Jewish simchas, including The Grove, Oslo Court, The Haven, Lord’s Cricket Ground, Saracens Stadium, One Ashbourne, as well as synagogues in Bushey, Pinner, Hendon, Borehamwood, and St John’s Wood. We have also performed for Jewish Care, The Radlett Centre, and The Langham, to name but a few. Most recently, we were delighted to be flown to Jerusalem to perform at a wedding at the Aish HaTorah building, right in front of the Kotel.
Our act and genre complement additional entertainment perfectly. As opera and musical theatre performers, we are often hired alongside bands and DJs as an added surprise element.
