John is a versatile DJ able to play almost anything. He is just as comfortable playing mainstream pop/party tracks as he is playing niche dance/house tracks and enjoys the challenge of somehow knitting together Daft Punk with the Spice Girls.

The key part of any DJs job is playing music that the crowd are going to enjoy and really gets the party going.? As a DJ for over 25 years John feels it is vital to connect with your crowd through the music selection and therefore John gets as much enjoyment from the night as everyone else.? His passion for music started in the 80s through the many changing faces (& fashions) of the decade and the birth house/dance music, which is where John started out as a DJ.? John enjoys playing many different styles of music however he?ll happily admit that Folk, Country & Western & Heavy Metal aren?t really his thing!? As John said before his passion for being a DJ started with the birth of house music in the 80s, spending many weekends clubbing and pestering local DJs for a ?break? whilst trawling the local record shops for that elusive big track.? From there he spent his time learning his craft from small family events to big club nights.? In more recent years he focused on the wedding and corporate markets rather than the ?super club? nights.

To be asked to be part of someone?s special day/event is truly a privilege and deserves a professional approach tempered with a relaxed, approachable & fun attitude.? There is no better feeling then at the end of the night when one guest coming over and saying Thank You; you know you?ve made that person?s night.

John has had the pleasure of working with many hundreds of people in his career so far however the highlight has to be working alongside ?superstar DJ? Brandon Block, a pioneer in the house music scene and a hero of his.? On the night he was due to play at an event with Brandon following on later, however, his schedule changed and he needed to be away earlier, so they switched slots meaning he achieved a lifetime ambition of having Brandon warm up the crowd for him!
