New Variants are a 3 piece rock band who perform covers and have a growing set of original songs.

The band members met when cast for Andrew Lloyd Webbers West End Musical – School of Rock back in 2019/2020 where they all performed in front of up to 1000 people each evening, cementing their passion for performing live.

Now 15 years old they are gigging at venues and busking around the country and have landed a coveted residency at Acklam Village Market, Portobello Road where they play regularly to huge crowds. They are all very accomplished (Grade 8 level) musicians with Charlie on guitar being endorsed by Gibson Guitars and being the only UK member of their Gibson Generation Group 2023, Seren recently joining the prestigious Brit School and Dylan also finding acting success in various BBC Dramas.

They have headlined the mini music festival in Devon and opened Croxfest in Rickmansworth as well as previously performing for the Duke of Devon at Powderham Castle in Devon. They are regularly approached to perform at private functions.

Their set is a mix of Rock Covers with original songs thrown in. Their first single “Ordinary Day” has also now been released and is available on the main music streaming platforms.

They are great entertainers and incredibly inspiring given their age!
