Stellar Anderson is a Scottish singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She writes straight from the heart, with a message of endurance and resilience. There are influences of Etta James, Eva Cassidy, Hazel O’Connor, and even Lady Gaga, but her Celtic roots and classical training shine through. The songs are lyric-driven, with strong hooks, melodies, and moments of fragility in ballads that will pull on your heartstrings.
She released her first solo EP, The Book of Stellar Vol. 1, in 2021 on piano. The songs all took on a life of their own and grew into a 10-track album, BREATHE, which was released in 2022. The album features a collective of amazingly talented musicians under The Stellar Anderson Project. Stellar is due to release a further EP in February 2023, featuring more fantastic musicians and widening the repertoire of talent involved in The Stellar Anderson Project.
Stellar is also available to provide shows with a mix of original and cover songs. She can adapt her performance to suit the venue or client’s needs, with additional musicians where requested, and has played everything from tiny stages to large events such as The Big Feastival.
