Wham!DuranLeague is a solo multi-tribute show dedicated to the lead singers of 3 of the most iconic acts of the 1980s, Wham! (George Michael), Duran Duran (Simon Le Bon) and The Human League (Phil Oakey). James Farrant performs all the hits of these iconic acts in a packed energetic show complete with costume changes and theatrics together with professional sound and lighting.
You will hear anthems such as Wake me up before you go go, Rio, Don’t you want me, I’m Your Man, Hungry like the Wolf, Freedom, Together in Electric Dreams, Is there something I should know, Club Tropicana, Mirror Man and many more!
James has been professionally performing in a number of leading tribute bands for many years and is now able to combine the same hit packed shows to clients who may not have the space, requirement or budget for full bands to these legendary acts.
James has spent time studying the performances of these great icons to faithfully reproduce a show that both entertains and transports his audience back to the 80s heydays. James says “I started singing the songs of Wham! Duran Duran and The Human League from an early age and they have been influential in my own music journey. Being able to perform the songs of these legends is an honour and I hope clients enjoy hearing these songs as much as I enjoy performing them.”
